How a custom avatar is built
The person who will become the presenter records a short reference clip following the instructions in the panel: even lighting, a fixed frame, a few sentences read at a normal pace. That recording is what the AI avatar is built from, keeping their appearance and — if you choose it — their voice. From then on there is no more filming: any new script is delivered by the same presenter, in any of the available languages.
Consent and the right to one’s own image
An avatar built from a real person can only be generated with that person’s explicit consent, recorded before processing. The consent states what the avatar will be used for and can be withdrawn at any time, in which case the avatar is deactivated and cannot be used in new videos. For material where you would rather no real person appears, the alternative stays a fully synthetic gallery presenter.
The brand kit: configured once, applied everywhere
The brand kit gathers the logo, the colour palette, the fonts, the backgrounds and the intro, outro and lower-third templates in one place. Every new video inherits them automatically, so material produced by different departments looks like it comes from the same brand. When the visual identity changes, you update the brand kit once and re-rendered videos pick up the new version.
When to use your own avatar and when a gallery one
A custom avatar works best where recognizing the person matters: messages from leadership, internal communication, sales enablement, material where the client expects to see a specific human. A gallery avatar suits high volumes of neutral content — tutorials, course modules, procedures — where you do not want to tie the material to someone who may leave the company.
